Have got what I suspect is cement splatter all down passenger side of truck tried to wash off to no avail what a mess! Any suggestions to use to get this stuff off? Thxz in anticipation for any suggestions, Bill,
Oh my Bill, that could be an issue at this point as the lye in the cement may have very well penetrated the paint... in essence gluing it together. I would try hot water soaking it for hours... I wish you the best of luck.
Dry Ice, and super heavy duty gloves, may pop it off. It works on Commercial HVAC Equipment. Also Chemical Guy, Aluminum Mag Wheel Acid Cleaner, Dilute down by half. There are YouTube Videos on how to use it on Clearcoat and Paint. Look up Water Spot removal from Auto Paint.
Vinegar is a mild acid spray it on and let it work keeping it wet.
Its what company's use to clean the glass on equipment used to spray powdered cement on the ground as part of shoring up roads & parking lots before paving.
Cement company's also have an stronger acid (muriatic acid?) they use on their trucks for cleaning cement off if they dont rinse it good.

Now I dont know what either acid would do to paint or clear coat but think I would start with the vinegar first and see how it goes.
Reminds me I have some cement spots on the hood of my work truck I want to remove, need to find a spray bottle and vinegar.
