alt. brackets go where?

I need help with an alternator problem. I have a `75 f-100. I got a good deal on a `84 LTD with a 302, my problem is the motor came in pieces. The motor is in and hooked up, except for the alt. I have about 8 brackets that came with it and can't seem to get any close to fit. I was hoping someone could lead me to a diagram or picture of what brackets go where? It is a serpentine belt. Thanks for any help.

I looked around a little bit, and I am finding pictures of the alt on an LTD on the drivers side. Does it go on the driver's side above the power steering pump?
The next question is what motor did the 75 truck come with, and with that motor, did the alt mount on the passenger side?
And with the serpentine system, the waterpump and fan turn backwards from a regular v-belt system. So look the situation over, and decide the next course of action. If you copy the original set-up from a 1975 f100, you can go down to the parts store and get belts hoses waterpumps, etc, and they will fit. If you use the LTD set-up, you will have to fabricate and test fit stuff to work.

PS I couldn't find a picture that gave a clear view of the brackets.

I put the motor in the truck. The truck came with it's own 302. The LTD motor was in the car. The alternator is on the passenger side. I've already fabricated a fitting for the power steering pump. everything is hooked up except the alternator. I look at the brackets, they are the same shape as on the original 302, but will not line up the same. I guess if I get it lined up with the belt it should work. I appreciate the help. Next time I guess I'll take pix! Thanks...
