Whilst putzing around on my truck, I found a “SportsLiner” tag on what I believe to be the original bumper. The truck was built and sold in San Jose. I need to work on getting more of the paint off of it and plan to keep it. Just wanted to share. Anyone else have this?

All rear bumpers were optional, Ford did not offer a step bumper until 1968.
This is an aftermarket step bumper with the manufacturers name on it. Some Ford dealers also had the bumper companies stamp their name on these bumpers.
I've never seen this bumper on any sold new in CA truck. Here in SoCal, the Fey Bumper Company was the largest supplier, offered at least 8 different styles of step bumpers.
