I guess on the XL trim you don't get to see what gear you are in. Maybe if I put it in the "M" drive? I have not done that yet.

No problems with transmission grade shifting on a 6% grade for ~2 miles. Held 55mph with no issue towing a 7k TT. Tow/Haul and cruise control selected.
