Trailer TPMS

Does anyone know of a place that has the Trailer TPMS system in stock? Part number is LC3Z-1A189-E for reference. I would also be interested in the kit that comes with the camera as well. That part number is LC3Z-1A189-D. The few places i've reached out to do not have it in stock and do not have a lead time on when they will get them in.

There is none in stock, as it is Ford is shipping trucks without the kits. Some of us had to wait 6 months for the kits to arrive after delivery of the truck.

I got a harness from these guys ( https://nicholsmanufacturingandweldingservices.com ) and they were great. Give them a call maybe they have what you need.

My truck delivered without the kit recently as well. I wouldn’t expect to find them in-stock anywhere.

The TPMS system is handy and seems to work well. The camera, I'm not so sure about. The quality of the camera is debatable. The function of the camera may not be what you're looking for. The trailer camera only comes on in reverse.

I'm going to stick with what I have (factory TPMS and camera), since I already have it. But if I were to purchase a new truck, I would be thinking long and hard about the full TPMS and camera system, especially since availability of the factory system is in doubt. There are plenty of aftermarket options for both. I had a wireless aftermarket system on the bumper of my prior truck. It was good but required a separate screen. A system that used my phone or a tablet would be preferable. I would also make sure that it could send a signal all the way from the rear of the trailer. Cameras that are designed for the rear bumper of a car probably don't have a strong enough signal to reach from the back of the trailer.

Thanks for the responses from everyone. I was able to get one from @otea090 AKA Randy that he had "just lying around". You sir, are a stand up gentleman, and with all the backorders with these things, you were holding the equivalent of a 24-pack of toilet paper in April...it is worth 10x the price you sold it to me for.

The factory TPMS sensors - and those like them - are usually installed by a tire shop.

What are all of the cables for in this kit? Seems like you would just install the sensors and train them,

The sensors talk to a receiver that you have to mount near the axles of the trailer. You need the cables to get from the receiver to the truck's bumper.

There are three cables, one for the TPMS receiver, I mounted mine at the front of the trailer, it is a 30 foot boat trailer, one cable is for the camera that mounts to the back of the trailer and the third is for the yaw sensor that mounts to the fifth wheel or gooseneck trailer structure, on the vertical section that rotates as you turn. Since I am bumper pull I don’t have that connected to anything on the trailer, but it is part of the harness.

my TPMS works fine with the receiver at the front and steel belted Michelin XPS RIB truck tires on the trailer.

Same here. Truck was built in February and bought it from a dealer in August. Still missing the trailer camera and TPMS. Even called Ford direct to see what the ETA is.

Hope to get it by the Spring for next camping season.
