I have a '91 f150 with about 71k miles on it. I added a front bumper+winch and now the front end is sagging because of the weight of it. I was going to add a 1.5 in leveling kit from rough country since the rear was sitting alittle high anyways, which would give me about 1 in rake in the rear which is what i want.
I also want to add a lift to it and add bigger tires for some mudding and trails off road. The lift I wanted was a 2.5 inch add a leaf in the rear and a coil spring spacer in the front. I chose the add a leaf approach because I wanted a little more towing capactiy since I will be using this truck for trailers often.
Would I run into any problems having a leveling kit coil spring set and a spacer in the front at the same time, or should I just go with an overall taller spring like a 3-4 in spring. I am going to add longer shocks for my lift in the front and rear so that wont be an issue. I wanted to ask if anything else would be an issue such as driveshaft links, steering, etc. I have a dropped pitman arm for a 3-6 in lift from rough country ready in case I would need to install that since the one in my truck now is a little bent (likely fron the new bumper weight).
What would be my best approch, a leveling coil spring and a spacer, or a single coil spring for a little bit of a cleaner look?
I found a set of coil springs that are a total of a 4 inch lift which that with a seperate 2.5 in lift in the rear would completely level my truck, do you think that they would compress more than normal because of my bumper?

. It’s going to be trial and error to get the results you desire. With 4 inches of lift in the front you are going to need drop brackets for your radius arms and I beams.

i dont think i would because the front dropped 1.5" solely from the bumper weight and a regular 2.5in doesnt require drop brakets. what do you think?
You can only lift the front about 2 inches max without needing I beam drop brackets. If you want to lift more than that I would just get a 4 inch lift and see how it sits. Then you can lift or lower the rear accordingly. The original springs may have sagged a little bit as well. I would NOT try leveling coils with a leveling puck kit. What you might try are just using the HD F250 springs think it is CC822 and CC844 or something like that from Moog. Believe the 844 is stiffer. This might work better than softer F150 leveling coils with added weight.
