Upgrades not what I expected

Made intake and throttle body upgrades on my 92 f150 5.0 also shorty headers truck is flooding it’s self to death can’t even make it out drive way all new sensors no vac leaks at a loss need some help

Yeah more info will be helpful. Did you have the lower off, remove the distributor? Sounds like timing is way off.

I have installed a edelbrock performer upper and lower intake kit bbk 61mm throttle bodie shortie headers all new motorcraft sensors plugs and wires and injectors going to check fuel pressure at some point this week when I’m not working 16 hours everyday paper mill life sucks as far as the truck not sure if I’m missing something with the rich fuel problem

What size injectors did you put on it ? And a 92 is a Speed Density system, and unless you did something with the ECM, it's not going to handle those upgrades.

Take the bbk 61mm throttle body off, put on your stock one, see if that fixes your issue.
More than likely the 61mm is way too big for your engine.
Bigger is not better in this case.

Yelp got the old throttle body back on and got rid of the header plugs and some motorcraft platinums back in truck seems to run a lot better going to try to get it to the muffler shop in the next week to get some new collectors made so I can get all the exhaust by the o2 sensor plus tired of the fumes 🤪 ready to move on from this project I have a 7.3 crew cab I’m ready to bring back to life
