I installed a set of AMP power steps today regular version. After all buttoned up I put the fuse in and they retracted fully and nothing since. I have gone over the wires and checked voltage as well as the OBD port connection but its only 2 wires and easy to see and not mixed up. I dont see the little lights coming on and there is no life in the steps at all. They make no sound or seem to even try to move. I cant call AMP till Monday so I thought some one here may have some ideas?
Check out this thread regarding 2020 models and AMP steps 2020-superduty-amp-powerstep-unavailability-update. Apparently they don't work properly unless you add on an additional component from AMP. Details are in that thread.

Just to follow up on this, AMP while nice people are worthless. I have at this point called them 4 times this week and sent 3 emails. I also looked at just buying the plug I need to get the steps working. There is no stock of the 4 wire connector anyplace and no one has any ETA. It looks like I am going to pull the steps off and return them as I cant get the correct parts to make them work. I dont want to have to pull them off but I cant get the parts needed so I don't seem to have a choice but to pull them. It is my fault for not noticing the OBD plug was wrong but the box and manual have the correct 2020 part number so I just hammered out the install. The fact AMP nor any of their dealers have spare parts is just so frustrating.
The install nut and bolt wise is super easy. The wiring is not bad but I feel the harness is not long enough. If the steps stayed on truck I would extend the drivers side harness 18" or so to allow the controller to be mounted in a better place.
