Good morning fellas!

Good to hear Jay. No "real" problems but that means there were some. Do tell!

Got the lake place all closed up for the year. Looking better every year with all the labor we are putting into it.

Great you made it. What kind or pretend problems did you have then?

I had a real problem on Friday
Well I was having a decent Friday until around 5. I was using my dad’s tractor and brush hogging the field across the road from the house. The grass is dry and golden rods or rag weed is dead and gone to seed. I had been at for about an hour. I hear this puff and see smoke from the engine. I’m like oh f$&( fire!!! Shut it down, I’m next to young spruce tree so I try to use some branches to poke it out or smother it. I can’t really get to it well. The grease on the engine gets going then spread over the top of the engine. Of course the fuel tank is over this. Grass on the ground is starting to burn around it and I know I lost it at this point. Call 911 to get the fire department figuring that the trees next to it will start to burn and end up being a mini California. So I wait at the road for the fire department as I watch smoke drift over the knoll. Took 20-25 minutes which seemed an eternity. When they got to it it was pretty much done. Some grass was still burning and a a little flame left on the tractor. They hosed everything down. It actually wasn’t as bad as I imagined. Wiring and hoses gone. Sheet metal still looks good. Steering wheel is decent shape. Front tires still good. I don’t know about the radiator. Might still be okay. Hopefully the block is good. I’ll help my dad get it back to his house tomorrow. I think the grass seed and that stuff accumulated in an engine gully and got hot enough to ignite.

Good morning guys. Another darn Monday.

No real problems guys. Just stupid delays at restaurants and gas stations and traffic and such. Mechanically all went very well and the car towed the trailer pretty well. I think we averaged 14.4 miles per gallon.

Saw one flipped semi coming across New Mexico I think. Backup was easily 10 miles. Glad it was going east bound!!

Howdy guys! Another nice day out there today.

That doesn't sound too bad Jay. Sounds about like normal road trip fun. Haha

Good jobs to have done Jim. I will be getting it done this weekend. I picked up a couple jugs of RV Anitfreeze so that should be enough for both campers.

Lows in the upper 20's this weekend for us. You should be ok yet at that temp hopefully.

Yeah that's too hot. Haha
