It was sunny and warm yesterday so we went atv riding with some friends in the afternoon. Was t shirt warm for half the ride until sun started to set. Still some pretty colors
how much you get? they were saying we might get a little tonight but I may be at too low of an elevation to see any.
Maybe an inch.....all melted and gone now.

it was fun. great weather, had to take advantage while it was here. most of the trails now are closed for the season. there are still a couple areas but I don't plan to trailer to those. time to switch to skidoo season
Evening guys! Hope everyone had a good Saturday. I spent it winterizing the campers and cleaning them out. Got the big camper washed as well. Then did a bunch of other misc jobs around the yard. Now its time to have some supper and relax.
Good morning guys. Got a couple tons of decorative rock moved around the yard yesterday and 6 new plants planted in pots around the patio. That was fun in the upper 90* heat.
Now we are going to spend a couple days in relaxing Flagstaff before our friends Mark and Chris show up for the rest of the week.
Ugh! Monday! Oh well four day week for this guy. Got Weds off to get some stuff done. Got the camper and boat winterized and moat of the summer stuff put away. Just have some patio furniture left and we will be ready for the crap weather.
Those look like some fun trails Jim. Why do they close them so early? Plenty of time to ride wheeler yet IMO.
Yep it looks like snow may find us. Hopefully it melts away which I am guessing it will.
We got a bunch of stuff done this weekend as well Cory getting ready for the impending winter that is upon us. Few more things left to do but ready for the most part.

good morning Cory.
a number of the trails are on private land and people hunt. other trails are on class 4 roads which are open to vehicles but select boards determine the time frames atvs are allowed to operate on them as trails. Some trails share snowmobile trails also. fall is usually wet so erosion is more apt to happen. There are some areas that stay open until December. each club determines when to close its area based on those factors I believe. We just started into it mid summer so I don't know all the inner happenings and reasons. The friends we go with know the backroads and class 4 roads really well and they say they still ride later into fall typically.
