On my '91 F150, the wipers work fine on delay and on low, but when I put them on high they work fine for a while and then just stop mid-stroke on the windshield. When this happens I can turn the switch off and back on and they'll start working again. I usually just run them on low or delay to avoid this, but I would like to fix the problem since sometimes I need to run them on high.
The problem is that I'm unsure whether the problem is in the switch, the delay module, or the wiper motor.
Does anyone have any thoughts on how to troubleshoot this?

I found a writeup on this form, the detailed removing the front cover on the wiper motor and cleaning the contacts. That worked for me. But, be very careful, they are delicate. Try a search on here for that.
