My door sill sticker is fubar. It still has the plastic clear protective covering, but somehow the "ink" is faded almost beyond recognition. Normally it wouldnt bother me, but I use this unit for work, and they are claiming I have to submit a readable photo of the spec sticker to prove GVWR in order to be allowed on property. For now, they've simply been grumbling about compliance, but have not locked me out. I halfway expect it soon. An "as built" sheet doesnt meet approval, even though its common sense to see the VIN matches as well as the products on the sheet can be pointed out on the truck.
I've tried both a large metropolitan dealership, as well as a couple smaller ones, with absolutely no dice. I've found sources online that manufacture reproduction stickers for after body work, but none will sell to me, not being a body shop. I have yet to find a body shop that will place an order for one, even seeing it in person to verify I'm not screwing anything.
Does anybody have a magic phone number to a Ford rep that can possibly get a new sticker cut? Or maybe another solution?
Mine isn't much better, its from the door being left open and the sun hitting it. I have not bothered trying to get a new one but it can't be that difficult because I had the B piller replaced on my 18 and the Ford dealer body shop got a new one installed after paint.
Ask your Ford dealers body shop personnel. Sales guys won’t have a clue.
This was the body shop/parts, at all locations. The only semi-straight answer I received was: the only way is to convince their Ford rep to order one; wait 10-30 weeks; and the Ford rep has to personally come install it. During such time the truck is to remain on site.
I saw them, as well a a myriad of others. All of which will only sell to body shops who apply to be serviced. None of the standalone body shops I've spoken with are willing to sign a contract and pay a monthly fee just to order one sticker.

No magic number but if the truck is still under Ford Warranty put a warranty claim in for it

The whole thing is batsheet.
Call ECS and ask for a body shop in your area who is already under contract.
