While changing the spark plugs on a new to me 08 super duty XLT with the V10, I found this sensor unplugged. It's currently laying down the passenger side valve cover but is long enough to make it to the drivers side. Anyone know where this goes?
I've not had much luck. I did trace it back to where it plugs into the throttle body. It's the right side red hose in the pic below. The left side hose goes to the fuel pressure sensor mounted on the rail, on the driver's side. Passenger side does not appear to have anything similar. Also I pulled the gray piece out and it does appear to be a plug. No visible hole in it. If it's a plug, am I just wasting my time?
