EOT / ECT high eot temp

I got the truck in 2019. I put a sinister diesel coolant filter on it as soon as i bought it. I replaced all the coolant parts minus the radiator and heater core. I did replace the thermostat

I now have a fresh engine with a new oil cooler. ARP studs.. Bullit proof diesels waterpump..I am still experiencing high deltas.

any ideas?

In another thread you said you replaced the oil cooler.

What brand did you use and where did you buy it from?

Need actual numbers you are seeing, and the conditions under which you are seeing them (speed, towing, ambient temp, etc). The deltas can be all over the place depending on a lot of factors.

I had replaced the Oil Cooler last year and did the engine swap at the end of August this year. delta's after warm up have been about 210 to 220 EOT and about 190 on ECT. Ambient temperature has been 75 to 95 this past week..

What coolant are you using?
How much flushing of the coolant system did you do before replacing the oil cooler?

Currently the coolant I am using is the Amsoil Heavy Duty https://www.amsoil.com/p/heavy-duty-...A#pills-home_0

I did follow one of previous post on flushing the coolant when I did the oil cooler last September. Not sure in regards to flushing when the rebuilt engine went in. I would have to follow up with my Mechanic. We did install a new oil cooler with the rebuilt engine. we did use the same sensors. I might replace the sensors. Unfortunately, I will not be driving much this week but will be driving into the office the following week. It's a fairly short drive 25 miles or so.

Easy check on the sensors is a cold start after sitting overnight. The ECT and EOT should be within a few degrees of each other and not much higher than ambient. Fortunately they are fairly easy to change if needed.

I have an 06. Got SCT Livewire to monitor things. Deleted. Had high oil temp. Did coolant flush with Fleetguard Restore and Restore plus. Installed new ford oil cooler. Replaced ford gold with Rotella elc. Deltas still not great. Did 2 oil cooler back flushes and installed xdp coolant filter. Deltas are now good. A lot of particles still came out on the back flushes. Changed coolant filter after 30 days and coolant filter is catching a lot of particles. Deltas are below 9 on highway at 70 mph after warmup drive of 20 mins. 75mph it’s about 10. Hope that helps.

I to have the 8 to 10° delta difference at 75 mph. I have 4 to 5 around town and it seems great to me. 3 to 4 at idle.
