Purchasing Tires Online?

The tires arrived Saturday via FedEx after ording Wednesday morning. They shipped 3 x 275/65R20 10ply and 1 x 35x11.50R17 6ply The 3 that matched have date codes of 3520. Fired off an email that 1 tire was incorrect on Sunday. Monday morning they created an order for the replacement tire and included a return shipping label. Dropped the wrong tire off at FedEx Monday morning. The other tire should arrive Thursday.

Amazon didn't have the Toyo AT3 in stock or I probably would have gave them a try first.

Prime is more than just "Free Shipping" if you use all of the benefits. Also, 50 orders a year at $7.99 for shipping is $399.50 so it all depends on one's own shopping circumstances.

I've bought from simpletire, discounttiredirect and tires-easy. Always had good luck buying online.
I will buy online, then mount the tire myself and bring to walmart to balance. Cheapest way to do it, IMO!

I bought a set of 5 tires and wheels about ten years back.......mounted and balanced, from one of the online tire outfits. The price then included shipping, all 5 Came together. I don’t remember the make of tires now, nor the wheels. I know at the time it was a hell of a good deal.
