Have any of yall ever had Mastercraft tires. Im sorta preshoping for tires. I considerd the Mastercraft once before for my Ranger but went with the BFG's instead. I had made up my mind to put BFG's on this truck when the time came, but I stopped by a tire place the other day for some lugnuts and saw the Mastercraft tires in person. I was impressed they are a nice looking tire. I just wanna know how they ride,if they are loud(roar),and how they hold up,mileage and wear. Also how do they perform offroad and in bad weather. Any input? http://www.mastercrafttires.com/us/en/ProductDetails.asp?ProdType=LtTruck&id=209&title=L ight+Truck+Tires
Personally I would stick with the BFG's. In the tire business sometimes you get what you pay for. Of course it all depends on how you use your truck and tires.
I got a set of mastercraft tires on the recomendation of a trusted tire shop guy, he recommended them over some more expensive tires he had available, and they have been great, I have put 15 thousand miles, no unusual or uneven wear and they are very quiet going down the road. If you have a tire guy you can trust, he will give you the what fore, that is what I do.
GO MASTERCRAFT! coursier A/T's rock. 43,000+ miles out of 3 sets, and they were only rotated and balanced ONE time, towing 6,000-20,000+ (usually atleast 15k) pounds everyime it went somewhere almost. the only draw back is the AT2's hold rocks with the new groove down the middle. my NITTOS arent gonna lat to long i dont think. but, i spin alot lol. the mexicans at the car wash putting armour all on the back tire treads so you smoke em pulling out dont help. they do it if they know you push down pulling out, and stand back and laugh
i like the look of the courser mt's i will give my local shop a call on the price. i loved my bfg mud terrains but the at's that i have now are the re-designed compound and they arent wearing as nice as my last set of mt's. they are wearing even but arent going to go 70k like the mt's did. i am around 30k on them right now and i would guess i will be nearing the wear bars at45-50
