I have to replace my front axle joints on my 04 F250 4x4. I plan on getting SPICER joints but want to make sure I get the right ones. I have been told there are different series, Aa high quality and a low select series that are made in CHINA. Can anyone tell me which are the best ones that are greaseable? Part#? Thanks
Unless you're going to grease religiously I'd go for solids, which should be an SPL55-3X
Spicer solids are OEM and typically last a LONG time from the factory. Otherwise be sure you pump your greaseables with EVERY oil change, at a minimum. The seals are crappier because they have to let grease out, but that also means they let more in and are more prone to just "drying out"
Be sure to install so the zerk is easy to get at, also
