Intercooler w/plastic tanks leaking
I have a 6.0 intercooler with plastic "tanks" on my OBS. Of course it's leaking now by the hot side tank/core joint. Did any of the 6.0s come with an OEM aluminum tank version? I don't want to lay out $1200 for a "Mishy".

The intercooler is pretty easy to replace. You have to pull the fan shroud, radiator and air box but that's about it. Only special tools are the Ford quick disconnects for the transmission lines into the radiator.

WOW that IS cheap! Some feedback would be nice. I haven't seen a lot of threads about charge air coolers. Can't help but wonder if the extra $900 for Mishi's lifetime warranty is worth it.

The CSF arrived yesterday, it's an awesome intercooler. The OEM has 23 tubes the CSF has 29.

While I was in their, I installed new boots, clamps and a Blue Top box.
It lives up to it's name, Tuppence (British wife).

Unless it's taller or wider, that means the passages are smaller. Just like radiators, there is a lot more to the science.
