If I was to put in a set of 1.72 roller rockers. Is that possible with the factory heads?

Any good videos that show you how to do this?

I'm sure there are videos on youtube. The factory heads (E7, GT40, GT40P, etc) use a pedestal mount rocker that is very easy to swap out with minimal hassle. I've used Scorpion, Crane, and Comp Cam's roller rockers with no issue.

I don't know how much power mine makes but I've got Comp Cams roller rockers and pushrods to match, exhaust headers, K&N air intake.
I did other things as well but those were functional as I was doing a rebuild. I got stock heads and intake and it pulls very well. Not the fastest but still fun.

I see you say no issues but which Roller rocker would you recommend for longevity on a daily driver?? Or just get the cheapest ones that you have mentioned?? I take you are using the Aluminum Roller rockers?? I see there is cheaper steel ones out there.

I've been using the Scorpion rockers the longest, but I don't think there is much difference between any of them for longevity really. If your budget is very tight, there are Proform 1.7 ratio rockers available for under $200 for the set on Summit. Part number 66878. I don't know that I've seen any steel full roller rockers on the market. Several companies makes stamped steel roller tip rockers, and there are also stainless full rollers available.

How much more hp do you guys think will get out of that? What about better mpg?

Also what about putting a better aftermarket air intake? What would you recommend that is not super expensive?
What is your budget? Your not going to gain much of anything on a stock motor. The stock lower intake and heads are horrible. 3 inch duals is to big. I run 2.5 duals with my 408 stroker.

These are for a 3/8" stud mount. The factory heads are pedestal mount.
