I am going to buy a 95 f-150 with a <a href="http://motorhaven.autoanything.com/">351w </a>and an auto. What are the stock power ratings and what are th ebest mods for this engine.

Different sources give different info, but the rating with be anywere from 210-215HP and 315-325lb/ft torque. The major bottlenecks unique to the <a href="http://www.motorhaven.com/">351w </a>are the exhaust side of the heads, and the lower intake manifold. Depending on your budget, headers and free flowing exhaust do wonders. You can also tinker around with your engine to milk a little bit more if your good with a wrench. Advancing the timing has always helped me, especially off the line throttle response. If your looking for major gains and major dollars, high flow heads (ported or mild aftermarket), and an RV cam shouldn't upset your speed density to much.
