You just need the GP connector to not make a path to ground. I’ve found quite a few unplugged GP’s in the past with wire just dangling in there... Ziptied to the UVCH out of the way is probably fine. Add good double wall shrink tubing to the connector for good measure.
Installed 7 new Beru plugs and new UVCHs. Cut the bad plug wire off and sealed it out of the way. Now the truck runs good as new. Kind of strange how the one plug broke, glad it was an easy fix.
Actually, I just had a nightmare... The big yellow truck had all chinesey knock off sensors, injectors from the autoparts store (GARBAGE in 3k miles) and a POS knockoff turbo. I already swapped all the sensors to make the truck run and put a chip and gauges in it. This week I’ll be changing the turbo and injectors. It hadn’t occurred to me until just now I could be fighting with ****ty GP’s.....
