i was working on new Dash LED's. not sure what wire colors the dome light is or if it goes behind the dash gauges.
can someone post a pic of where the dome light connector is supposed to be ?
my dome light is intermittent and seems to work when it wants to.
checked the head light on off switch and it is working properly no issuers.
light bulb mount is grounded well.
if i could see a good pic of the harness for the dome light connector that would help.
It goes up inside the A-pillar, and I believe that it's the only wire which does that. From there it goes over the driver's door opening and makes a 90º turn at the driver's B-pillar and runs to the light. If you drop the headliner out of the cab, you will be able to see much of that wire. Off the top of my head I think the wire color is dark blue with a black stripe?
Yes pretty sure it is a 1 wire set up the A pillar if you have just a dome light. Now is you have a cab back/bed light and a in cab switch you will have 2 wires. 1 wire box style connector is behind the dash area and is right behind the headlight switch and or to the left towards the A pillar.
Thanks for the info.
my connector is broke. the wire does not stay seated in the connector.
I will have to get a new male and female terminal connector if possible.
like to try and keep it original.
