Dome light wiring question
I have a 1979 F-250 4x4 XLT. My dome light has never worked. I have replaced the light bulb, light switch, and the door switches. The dome light will not come on with the doors or by the switch. I also turned the light switch **** all the way to the left where it clicks to turn on the light and put a test light on each of the terminals because I thought that one of them should light when that switch clicks...am I right on that or not? Does anyone have any advice or ideas where I should look next? I would love to have this light working! Thanks in advance...

Since you checked for voltage at the socket and didn't get anything its time to trace the wire back to the harness and make sure there isn't any damage and that its connected to the main wiring harness.
