1978 c6 filter

So I have a question about the transmission filter on my truck, I went to order one today and the guy at the auto store asked if it was a deep or shallow pan I guessed that it was shallow since it’s a stock ford pan but I looked around and I see some conflicting info on what pan is on my truck I hope someone can straighten this out thanks. By the way the truck is a 1978 f150 4x4 with the c6 thanks for any help

if I recall correctly, the 4x4 pan is about an inch deeper...

A 4x4 C6 has a deep pan and a 4x2 C6 has a shallow pan. Get the other filter.
