17-18 F-250 & F-350 dash warp

What’s up guys!! So as we know the f-150 ford Xlt trucks are experiencing the warped dash’s. Ford says it’s only the f-150s and that is just not true, I have an 2019 f-350 that is warping terribly!! Who on here has an f-250 or 350 with a warped dash? Ford is currently in a lawsuit for the f-150’s to get a real repair instead of the same dash that warps a few months later. They are only addressing f-150s. Lariat dash upgrade fixes the problem!!!

Oh wow! I read about this before so I took counter measures by having my front windshield tinted with ceramic tint at 70% and blocks plenty of heat, I'm hoping my truck's dash survives!

I hope so also man! We see 100 degree days almost every day here so I’m not surprised at all. If I could get a head count from people that would be awesome so we can have our trucks fixed before warranty expires I’m sure it will take months to get fords attention. The warping doesn’t bother me terribly but when they start warping they start squeaking and popping driving down the road and that drives me nuts.

Lariat and up trims don’t have this problem? The extra layers of material must provide more support so the dash keeps its shape. Interesting...

Mine is wavy but not popped up like that. My Dads F150 is the exact same way, has been since new and its only a few months old.

That’s correct! I am guessing that the extra material provided more support.
It’s sad really if you put a little pressure anywhere on your xlt dash you will see how thin and flimsy the plastic is. My 03’s dash is aloud and hard as a rock. Ford will address the f-150’s but not the 250-350 because they say it’s a different model and a different part?! Hmmm not sure that right. If y’all know anyone with a super duty that has this issue please have them post on here with pics. Dealer is saying it’s just my truck and it doesn’t affect function so not covered 😂🤣 WOW

I will post pics later when I get home. Mine also makes a popping noise while driving where the drivers side defrost vent is and it drives me nuts!

Wow...2020 and manufacturers still haven't figured out how to make a dash cover.

They probably saved about tree fiddy per truck by making the materials cheaper!

I have a 2017 F250. Mine is warped exactly like yours. 50k miles. Mine is kept in a garage when not driving.

That said, I never would have noticed if I had not read your thread.

I do truly love this truck though. It will be interesting to see how Ford reacts to this. It is definitely NOT just the F150s.

Well I’m sorry I might have brought attention to some of y’all trucks but some people have been had resale issues “Less trade” so they need to replace this dash.

Dont be sorry, sounds like a class action needs to be started on the behalf of Super Dutys.

I’m willing to kick start it if I can get enough Super Duty fellas. From what I under stand it’s no cost to the consumer I will be making contact with someone tomorrow. We spend way to much money on these thing to receive sub par products, my 03 was half the money and better quality, and my pay check hasn’t gone up much but trucks have doubled😂

My '17 XLT looks fine. It sits outside 100% of the time here in Northern VA
