I currently do not have airbags on my new 2020 F350. I may add them in the future. However, in researching airbags I have seen many people install an air compressor for the bags and also add a port they can use with compressed air tools, etc. (filling tires and such). I really like this idea of an integrated compressor installed under the truck somewhere, out of sight, with an air port installed near the license plate.
Can anyone recommend any good quality, yet not overly expensive (call it "middle of the road") compressor that could be installed in such a way now, but be used for airbags later on if I decide to install them?

All this probably won’t fit in the same sentence. Kind of like asking for an honest politician! Or honest lawyer!
A compressor big enough to air up tires.....maybe with an air tank, run air tools, that takes lots of CFM which is likely to take $$$$$$$
Viair makes a good middle of the road compressor but with any one you pick its all about its duty cycle and CFM..
If your looking to run air tools you'll want one with a 100% duty cycle and a large CFM... https://www.viaircorp.com/
Search some pages back. This conversation came up some weeks back. I have a Viar system in my LBZ but supposedly there is a turnkey kit someone on amazon offers for the SD's.
If you want to do anything with that air, then you should consider a tank with the compressor. As mentioned Viair makes well regarded kits. Viair 10007 is a common kit, as it has 2.5 gal tank and a 100% duty cycle compressor. It's around $350, give or take. Throw in another $50 - $100 for mounting plates, hardware, etc. Lots of threads here and at various F-150 forums on where to mount these things.
I went with a Kleinn system, which is similar. 100% duty cycle compressor and 3 gallon tank ... all mounted neatly around my spare tire. Everything is out of sight and I keep my spare tire.

Thanks for mentioning this system. I upgraded the Viar system in my 06 LBZ some years ago with the 3 gallon tank from amazon. Had to custom weld brackets and what not. This Kleinn set up looks great with the brackets and mounting locations.
I'll be adding a S&B 60 gallon tank to my truck so clearance is a big concern. Looks like the Kleinn kit won't interfere at all.
Does the pump mount get in the way of the spare tire? I'll be stuffing a 35 or deflated 37 in there.
I had the airlift wireless on my half ton. It was terrible for signal. Worked 25% of the time if controlling from inside the cab.
This truck I put in a Viair compressor with 2.5 gallon tank. Installed a pneumatic switch and gauge on my dash. Can inflate my bags from 0 psi to 100 psi in a little over 10 seconds. Plus I can use it for airing tires. Will also power a impact gun long enough to remove the 8 lug nuts for a wheel change.
A 60 gallon tank? What are you setting up, a tire service truck? What kind of compressor [CFM] are you going to feed that tank with?No disrespect just curious.
