a/c to air compressor?

a/c to air compressor?
Back in my jeeping days i converted the a/c to an air compressor. Is that possible on these trucks? I don't need or really even want an a/c on my truck, its why i bought an XL model. But thinking about it, it would sure be nice to have an air compressor

Technology goes forward. Converting AC into air compressor is time consuming and single minded project.
For about $ 99 you can buy 1200/2400 W inverter that will run any smaller air compressor you already might have at home and than you can plug coffee maker or microwave oven in it.

Put a York compressor in it. Much better solution. Pretty much the same as in your jeeping days, but all thought out and many kits available (google is your friend there).
You will never match the performance of a York for air tools with any small 110V inverter powered compressor.
