Timing chain and gear set
Hey guys, how can you tell if you have the stock timing chain and gear set vs an aftermarket one?
I tried searching a bit and couldn’t find anything, most likely didn’t search for it correctly haha.

I'm quite sure Ford never used a double roller timing chain in these engines - so if you've got one of those it isn't stock. The factory gear sets I've seen are nylon coated aluminum, but I forget what the style of chain is called.
