My 2019 F250 Lariat defaults to the trailer screen every time I start truck. I don't know why it picks that screen and I rarely have a trailer hooked up. Is there a way I can set it to start up on a certain screen?
Mine usually does that when I did not select "no trailer". If you attach a trailer then unhook it, it doesn't know that so it will default to that screen. Go in and select "no trailer" then whatever screen you leave it on when you shut it off should come back up the next time you power up.
you need to go to the towing set up screen and under select trailer pick "no active trailer"
it's one of the glitches that we sll hope get fixed at some point.
My truck automagically goes to "No Active Trailer" when I pull the 7-pin cable. I tested this yesterday by checking the accumulated miles on my trailer when I dropped it off at the storage lot. I then drove a few miles and checked the accumulated miles again. No change.
Not all trucks are "smart" enough to do this. It's strange that our trucks don't work the same.

I tried that on my truck and it still defaulted to the towing screen upon the next restart. So if this procedure does not work for the OP then connect a trailer to the truck. Start the engine and disconnect the trailer plug while the engine is running. I have gotten in the habit of leaving the truck running when I disconnect the trailer.
