Dealing with a 99 F250, auto, with a chip. It started before it was parked, no issues.
It has been sitting a few months and I cannot seem to get it to fire or even try. It just cranks.
What I have done:
Charged batteries for several days, and ran a booster pack.
Unplugged 42 pin connector, and used terminal cleaner on both sides. Verified broken/bent or pushed back pins.
Verified oil level on dipstick is good.
Verified that I can see oil level in the HPOP.
Verified that fuel pump is coming on and pressure good(gauge and audible).
Unplugged ICP sensor, no change.
Unplugged IPR sensor, and verified I've got around 11+ volts on the full time power pin with KOEO.
WTS light comes on, and I believe it is cranking fast enough.
Unplugged the chip
Batteries from another 7.3 that just started and ran fine.
RPM jumped to around 150-160ish, ICP around 2000+, voltage maybe 9.5 or so while cranking, with boost box on.
Hit it for a while, verified that cps was connected.
Put it in neutral and cranked some more. It finally started, seemed to run good. Thinking it is all my HPOP oil draining from sitting for so long.
Check the connections on the relay on the passenger front fender. I had similar issues some time ago and even with new batteries it still wouldn't start. I finally took that connection(s) apart and there was a layer of corrosion all over under the nuts and washers. Once cleaned up...started and ran great.

What BillyBob said, clean under your nuts and surrounding areas and she'll be much more responsive.

LMAO.... i read that to my wife... without as so much a smirk...she just says.... See...told ya.
She don't get me like that much...but man I owe her now.
Your best to do a Voltage Drop on the Battery Cables. Anything more than a .5 to 1.0 drop is unacceptable and that cable needs replaced. Things like this are battery destroyers and cause problems. A drop on all the cables is a grounding problem. Have those Batteries load tested.
