Hello, I have a '99 super duty with a broken mirror on the right side. It is the larger "two arm" design. It is a power mirror, but not extendable. It has the blind spot portion on the bottom. It is not heated, and does not have turn signals. I've heard there would be a benefit to upgrading to a newer style mirror?? If so, what should I look for that will still fit and function (maybe a little better than the originals)?
Here’s a picture of the difference of the original mirrors and the replacement (top)mirrors. The blind spot mirrors alone are worth the money! My original mirrors had power, the new ones are power, heated with turn signals. I’m in the process of wiring the turn signals probably won’t worry about heat...
A1 auto is a sponsor here, I bought mine off EBay. You may need to trim the insulation on the mounting portion and there was a plastic pin I’ll call it that needed to be removed both very easy to do. But worth the money.
