Reaching out for a little help! Finally getting back to my bed (66 F100 Flareside) since weather started cooling down a bit. Does anyone have documentation or can someone with an 8' flareside let me know the measurements of the carriage bolt locations on the flange part of the bedside? Distance between square holes from bulkhead to rear of fender well(see pics below). I replaced my lower bedside extensions and the flange. Now I have to drill holes and have no reference. - Any help would be appreciated
I see that there have been no answers to your post. I can help you with a few holes, as my bed it rotted in many spots. here are the measurements I have I am going to give you measurements from the tale gate side as well as the cab side. All measurements will be on center of the hole. And take from a dismantled bed, right from the edge.
From Cab
1st hole - 2 1/8"
2nd -10 7/8"
4rd -16 1/8"
5th - rotted
It seems there are between 15 and 16 holes total, my bed is too rotted to tell. I also tried to see if there was a set distance between the holes and there is not from what I am able to measure. Sorry I could not be more of a help. Hopefully someone else will be able to verify or fill in the missing holes for you.
Thanks CB. I do have a few holes still in place so I'll see how those locations line up with yours and if all matches, Ill go with what you have provided. Thanks a lot for taking the time to gather that info - Much appreciated!
