I’m wondering if the cab off of this grain truck will be a direct bolt to a 1966 f100 frame will that bolt on and is it possible to do thanks

With the step up inside the door, no I don't think they are interchangeable. The 65/ 66 had a different cab mount when they switched to the twin I-beam and the cabs did not have the step. Plus, this one looks like it is not too far behind your other cab. Just from the pictures posted, you can see the driver side floor pan and lower door pillar need repair and judging by the rust from the exterior picture on the passenger side, I would almost bet on the door pillar on that side as well.

Cab step, visible when the doors are opened: 1961/64 all, 1965 F100/250 4WD & F350/1100, 1966 F250 4WD & F350/1100.

No cab step: 1965/66 F100/250 2WD, 1966 F100 4WD

The simple answer is definitely not a direct bolt onto a 66 2whl dr. Not only are the mount different but so is how the steering column mounts which affects its ability to even line up with your steering box. Brake master or booster will need mods to bolt on as well. The 61-64 truck really is a different beast that just looks the same.

If it's free, there are still a lot of good pieces you may need. Don't toss it yet, even if you can't use the whole cab.

+1. If you are allowed to take what you want off that truck by all means do it, the truck looks to have some useable spares. I think we sometimes forget about larger trucks. At the same auction I got the '63 there was a mid 60's Loadstar with a good running 345 or 392. It went for $250 (probably to a scrapper). I thought about buying it. It started, ran, and drove fine, but unfortunately did not stop very well... Not sure what I would have done with the truck though. Keep searching I am sure something will come up that you can use. I can keep an eye out up here as well. I do a lot of just putting around on the back roads and see some interesting stuff from time to time.
