Steering box splines
On our 2000 EX do I need to count the splines? And is it possible while it's on the truck? Is the 32 spline for 2wd only or did they use 32 and 36 on 4wd.
I'm planning on buying this one

You can barely see the splines on the top of the arm. There are 4 larger gaps, there are 9 teeth between the large gaps so it should be a 36 spline unit. We bought a new Lares for my daughter's 87 Silverado and it's working great so I'm getting another new one for our EX.
