Ford pass remote start
I will receive a new 450 in a couple of days and I did not order the remote start option. Is it possible to activate it via forscan and start the truck with fordpass ? Or is it missing some hardware ?

Yes it should work, mine did not come with remote start or push button start yet it still works via the app. You can add it to the lock-unlock-lock seq on key fob with a module for like $150 too if you want that.

Got any info on that module? The Fordpass works like 50% of the time.

my 2020 stx 250 did not come with remote start on the key fob, but from the factory will start from the ford pass app. No forscan needed.

I didn't know that was an option, I have the FordConnect but my screen doesn't offer a start option. I do have Sync3 and this truck is fully loaded.

Apparently this is only on 2019+ vehicles, I have a 2018 so I guess I don't have that option.

No prob, This is the cheapest price I have seen in below link. If you have a 2020 all you have to do is add the jumper and plug it in, its already enabled in the computer, no forscan req. It also has a shock sensor for the alarm system FYI, I will prob get this soon as it will be nice in remote areas where I dont have cell service.

I have the same thing. I have the fordpass app, but on the app it doesn't show the remote start option. My truck has the remote start via the key fob though.

Id sure like to figure that out, so the three times in my life I would use it, I could haha.
