Front Mounted Hitch

Any front mounted hitches out there that are more hidden & come out in the bumper opening (where the license plate is)? I don't like the models that cut through the bottom plastic of the bumper.

Looked around, but haven't had much luck.

Are you talking about a boat/trailer hitch or a winch hitch?

boat/trailer hitch :

If so: https://www.partsgeek.com/gbproducts...SABEgKjwvD_BwE

https://www.trailerjacks.com/97-04-f...h-tow-receiver

They are both made for a Ford to be hidden behind the bumper and come through the cutout of the bumper.
Hiden Winches are a dime a dozen depending on what you want to spend.

This one is for both types: https://www.carid.com/1999-ford-f-150-winch-mounts/

Thank you for the links, Stonedpony. The first (partsgeek) shows it's for a F250 only, does it work on the 150 also?

The second (trailerjacks) looks like I have to remove the bottom plastic portion of my front bumper.

Would really like to have this run through the opening where my license plate currently is. That might just be a pipe dream.

I put the Draw Tite on my 99. Didn't have to cut or remove anything. It hangs below the valance. IMO, It would be better coming out through the bumper. I get why the manufacturers make them easy to install. Doing some light four wheeling I have banged it a couple times. I did buy another receiver tube and was thinking of modifying the hitch to exit through the bumper. on the plus side I love backing(pushing) my trailer with it. I literally have to drive around the block and down the ally to get to my back yard. Way easier than backing it into my yard with the limited clearance in the ally. Second, it bolts right up, I used a floor jack to lift it into place. Lastly, I don't have tow hooks and this came with them.
