EGR Block off
I am going to do a delete soon On my ‘15 6.7 and I would like to keep my EGR in place but install the block off plates.
I’ve searched everywhere and cannot find any instructions on how to do this. I’ve looked to buy just the plates but couldn’t find them. I can buy a complete delete kit which is what I’m planning on doing. Would that work? Do I just need to install the two plates? Do I need to drain coolant or anything like that? I saw someone else’s truck that had a pyro sensor in the plate. Where does that come from? This is my first diesel so please forgive me if it’s straight forward and I’m just overthinking it.

this is probably not the right forum to ask that. this is a general forum that covers gas and diesel powered trucks/vans.
Also, the EGR bolts are prone to breaking. If you break one, if can be costly to get it repaired.
Any particular reason for the delete? EPA is frowning on companies selling delete kits and tuners. Many do not sell the items any more or only sell to a trusted person.
