I’ve got a 2017 SD XL... I’ve added Sync 3 8 inch touch screen, added a XLT gauge cluster... but really wanna do some more interior upgrade, what all have you guys done?
Get you some katzkin leather seats. If you are handy you can do it yourself for $5-600.
Ive wanted to do this since I bought the truck. Only thing holding me back, is if I can’t do it... I know the installer in my area is garbage. Most people say is a lot more intimidating than anything, I consider myself very handy and mechanically inclined... it is intimidating though for some reason.
You can change the arm rests and steering wheel pretty easy.
Vinyl or Katskins are nice too.
I really wanna keep the jump seat, but would love to go with leather. I just ordered Katzkin kit for my truck, will keep up to date on the install... Also, I did upgrade my steering wheel from the XL to the XLT one because I picked one up for 25 dollars locally... But, the problem Im having is I cant get Forscan to let me use the radio controls. I did this upgrade to down the road upgrade to a Raptor wheel... But haven't revisited that since I couldnt get Forscan to work.
I did my last F250 XL non sync with it and just didnt use the buttons.
You can do the arm rest on the door pretty easy, there is threads about it.
I didn’t have sync before but have all the functions of sync now, but the buttons still won’t work. Might still do it just for looks after I do the Katzkin.
Hey, I just picked up a 2020 XLT that came with cloth seats. I haven't had cloth seats in years so I was looking around for some OEM leather seats and those were pretty expensive. I then looked at katskin and was ready to dish out 1800 for the seat covers when I found this gem at Amazon for $199. It looks good better than the cloth seats and was pretty easy to put on. Ive had them on for about a week and they seem to be holding up nicely.

these look really good. My only problem would be the jump seat not being covered. Have watched a bunch of videos of people
installing katzkins looks to be an easy job just time consuming. Seems like I could do a seat a night while I’m watching TV and not take up too much time.
