I had some ****tie luck yesterday and messed up the fuel pump on my 2019 f550 flatbed. I got 2 questions hopefully you guys can help.
There are two arrows on the top of the pump, one points towards the pump and the other away ( supply + return). Currently fuel is being pumped Out of the pump from the side with the arrow pointing into the pump (what I assume is the return). Should the fuel flow be following the arrows?
Second question, does anyone have a good picture of the connection going into the top of the pump? This connected is what got damaged, and I tried to put the 4 wires back where I thought they were...but maybe I have them crossed?
In the picture attached you’ll see how I connected the wires. And you’ll also see one of the arrows on the top of the pump...is that the supply line? Meaning fuel should be pumped out from that side (which it isn’t right now)?
