Just got the truck back from the stealer having the DEF sensor replaced due to CEL and DEF level error. Luckily this was covered under FSB 18M01. However, they had to flash the PCM and it doesn't say on the paperwork what version was installed. So 2 questions
1) Is there a way to find out the flash version they installed ?
2) Is there a list out there that shows all of the latest flashes and what they "corrected"
It is flashed to what ever the dealer service dept has installed on their laptop IDS. Normally, they should go make sure they have the latest IDS software calibration files loaded. IDS calibration files covers ALL Ford models and not just your SD.
The latest IDS that was probably used would be R119.01, release date 12 Aug 20.
As to what all it updates/changes/etc would be only something Ford would know, not the local tech. The tech only goes by what the procedures or TSB tells him to do such as re-flash PCM or other modules.
