zf6 question
i am running a zf6 in an 04 F550 behind a 6.0 diesel engine. got a used transmission what is reportedly good from a known source. installed new luk clutch and the existing, but tested one piece flywheel. having hard time getting the master cylinder to engage the transmission when running. it just won't engage it.
i removed the master cylinder and measured 2 3/4" from the shift fork to the transmission case. i can push on the tape measure and the fork depresses easily and gives another 1/8" before the tape buckles. we bled the hell out of this thing and it still not engaging
any ideas? tks driving me up a damn tree. need this truck back out on the road
