Just picked up a 97 F250. In not to bad shape. Little rough around the edges. The inside needs a good once over that's for sure. The steering wheel looks as if its NEVER been cleaned. It's not leather ( I think ) with cruse controls in the wheel. Someone have a go to for cleaning all the black build up of years of dirt, sweat, and ??? off the wheel?
As a side not Im looking for replacement cluster basal in black. A set of interior door panels Power Original is Tan. That would be fine. Thinking I would really like a set of gray ones thoe! If willing to ship to NE Ohio. 44057.
If the Cruise works I'd stay away from the buttons
Use some OXY-Clean 1tsb.to a quart of HOT water, use a sponge or cotton cloth to DAB and a old tooth brush
for the heavy areas. If you find out it's leather be sure to use some conditioned afterwards.
Oxy-clean IMHO would be a bit harsh for either vinyl or leather....might tray a little simple green as it has a very neutral PH and is focused towards grease, oils, etc.
