finish on steering wheel?

I'm assuming it's the leather wrapped sterring wheel, since its a Lariat. I don't think you can do anything about it once it gets that bad. I've heard this may be due to using armor all and then leaving the truck in the hot sun. Maybe a nice lace up leather cover would look good. Or you could get it redone at an auto upohlstery shop, but that would probably require you to remove the wheel.

I too had the same thing happen to the wheel in my truck. My fix was a little crude but hey it works. Under the leather wrap is guess what? A standard rubber steering wheel so I just cut the stupid wrap off and been driving ever since. Sure it looks a little funny a black wheel in a tan interior but it WORKS! Have been keeping my eyes open for a wrecked truck with tan interior though but no luck so far. Armor-all didn't cause mine, it started when one of the boys at ford's fine dealerships decided to clean some grease off with brake cleaner. Hey it works great on fabric but not on leather!
