I know that they have been having camera supplier issues. Maybe the system is not allowing any more orders for that? Oh wait, are they ordering you a 2020?
IDK.. I sent my build to a few dealerships and they were all pricing out 2020 models.. At least none came back saying 2020's were closed to new orders..
1st, with the camera issues you might not get a 2020.
2nd, if 1 is Not the case, find another dealer... at least call a few with your build and find prices.
3rd, get a membership to Mustang Club for $25 and get the X-Plan pricing... go search why this is a benefit.
I asked him, So option 53R is not available? His response.. Yes, that is correct... He said he spoke to the dealership owner who confirmed it. Strange.. I really liked this dealership...
Ok, here's a possible explanation for that dealer's confusion...
In the Order Guide, the High Capacity and HC+UTTC options (535, 53Q) are in the "Groups/Packages" section. But the UTTC (53R) is in the "Key Exterior Options" section.
If they read the Order Guide to enter option codes they might miss it. Or if the software they use guides them the same way.
