Make sure you have the original paperwork from the other truck so the dealer doesn't add or subtract money you paid then. Don't forgot that I think they also pay for any other taxes you paid, we have Excise tax here that is something you pay after you get the truck home.
This is not my first rodeo. It’s the 3rd time I filed Lemon Law.
I sent a Ford a copy of the original contract. The numbers are taken directly from the original sales contract, plus interest, fees from the finance contract and history of all payments made. The LL truck has a clear title as I already paid it off. Below are the details from the buyback offer if I were to take it. I would need to surrender the truck and get a check for $63,654.28.
I elected to NOT TAKE the buyback but I opted for a replacement truck. A replacement the truck would cost me about $3,000 less than taking cash and buying on my own due to having to pay sales taxes on the total purchase price. So I opted for a replacement newly ordered truck. I already signed the replacement vehicle form from Ford. Now the ONLY thing I will pay is difference in MSRP plus the $5,271 “usage” fee. I will write the check for about $8,400 and I walk away with a new truck with a clear title. FORD pays all other costs, fees, taxes etc. Florida does not have excise taxes or any fees when you get the truck home.
As you can see below, the original MSRP was $74,015 I paid $69,638 (X-Plan). They applied $3,750 rebates ($3,000 PCO + $500 rebate + $250 USAA cash)
There isn’t a similar truck in stock within 500 miles of us. I have currently and want a Lariat with most options except a moonroof. It must have 6.7L, Ultimate pkg, Adaptive Cruise, Adaptive Steering LED headlights, Heated steering wheel w/rain sensing wipers, tow cameras w/pro trailer assist, power running boards, FX4, 3.55 e-locker, 5th wheel prep, Roof Clearance lights, Upfitter sw, Garage door opener. Etc. It also must be magnetic, stone grey of star white. NO BLACK, BLUE OR RED.
check in Texas. I’m in south fl. Flew to Houston to get my 250 and drove home. Nothing local at all. Since my truck was stolen, Just checked again dealer still had about 25 lariat in stock various options.

Dazeoff,
Thanks for the suggestion. My dealer in Bradenton FL ordered a truck that matched my 2019 when I told them Ford agreed to buy mine back. I talked to the guy that orders them today and he was able to modify the order to change the axle from a 3.31 to 3.55 elocker and add rain sensing wipers for me. Trying to find a loaded Lariat diesel without a sunroof is almost impossible.
Once again I will get Exactly what I want. I’m very happy.
Man you need to check the dealership in Sherman, TX. Bob Utter Ford. The majority of their Super Duties are non moon roof. That is why I purchased there. I got a hard loaded, off the lot, 6.7L Lariat without Moonroof. Many colors to chose from. Just an FYI.

Thank for that info. I just checked them out. They have loads of 250s but only have 2 F-350 SRWs in stock. A Black one with sunroof and a White one without sunroof. The white long bed SRW that has 20” wheels with $2500 worth of chrome wheels which I don’t want, 3.31 rear vs 3.55 and extended running boards vs power running boards and no adaptive steering.
yeah, I know, I’m too picky. This will be my 3rd F-350 in 3 years, a 2017, 2019 and now 2020. I know exactly what I want and don’t want. I’m willing to wait for my perfectly equipped ordered truck.
I need a short bed to fit in garage
I don’t want bling.
I don’t want black
I want the slightly softer ride of 18” wheels.
I want loads of tech but lots of payload. Adaptive cruise, adaptive steering, Pro trailer assist, LED Headlights etc
I need about 3500+ lbs of payload to tow my 5th wheel.
I don’t want 20” chrome wheels or a sunroof,
Just wondering what percentage discount they had offered if it was equal to or better than their “x” or “z” plan discount
They used the formula that Florida follows for Lemon Law. They allowed new truck to cost 5% more and charged me usage fees. Usage fee is calculated on mileage when first service appt for the original issue. They use 120,000 miles as a base. After some negotiation they waived 1/2 the usage fee and credited all original flees and taxes paid on the original truck. Then they applied the $3000 PCO I had received on the deal.
First, my deal was simple since I didn't have a loan so there was no interest of payments to consider
$2.367 Total Responsibility of Customer:
==========
So for $2,367 I got a one year newer truck that had a MSRP 6% greater than the old truck.
