AQHA Rebate Processing Details

I received some information as to how the AQHA rebate works. Hopefully I do not jinx it...

There is a monthly data feed, that sends data to Ford. If you join on the 31st, or the previous first of the month, it counts the same. The data is sent to Ford at the same day, and counted as one month.

You can get two certificates per year.

I am not sure if the data feed runs on weekends, or the first business day of the month. Or on Labor day. And if there is another batch process on Ford's end that takes an additional business day to feed some system after the data feed from AQHA.

That explains why some people only have to wait 40 days, or less.

When in doubt, join early.

https://www.fordspecialoffer.com/aqha/ is a Ford Website that has data sent over from the AQHA.

Thanks for the update/info!!! So I did my membership online 7/6. So it would not have downloaded 7/31 but it should 8/31. At least that what it sounds like to me.

Thanks again!!

My join date is July 10th. And my truck arrives next week. I am hoping the same thing.

It might be September 1st, or even September 5th, that the certificate is actually available. It depends on if they do processing on weekend and holidays. Or if it the 31st, or the 1st.

Of course, by email the AQHA told me it would be 9/9 that I am eligible.

I joined the AQHA on July 10.

I just got my AQHA certificate this AM. If you joined in July, yours should be available. Go through all the screens, and fill them in and submit.

The screen did say I was not eligible for any certificates, but allowed me to generate a PIN and print the certificate.

Good luck.

How to redeem this certificate:
Step 1
Go to your local Ford Dealer and
negotiate your best deal on any eligible new
vehicle of your choice.
Step 2
Present this coupon to your sales consultant.
Step 3
You just saved $500. Go enjoy your new vehicle!

Redemption Period
You must purchase or lease an eligible new vehicle and take retail delivery between January 4, 2017 and January 2, 2018 to qualify for the $500 Bonus Cash. Special ordered vehicles must arrive and be delivered by January 2, 2018. Vehicles delivered after January 2, 2018 are not eligible.

Customer Eligibility

Mustang Boss 302

Vehicle must be reported sold to the eligible member in order to receive the AQHA $500 Bonus Cash offer. Some customer and purchase eligibility restrictions apply. Non-negotiable - two per household per program period. $500 Cash Bonus valid from 1/4/2017 through 1/2/2018. This offer may not be used in conjunction with other Ford Motor Company private incentives or AXZD-Plans. Some customer and purchase eligibility restrictions apply. See Dealer for additional details.

Payment of Incentive
You may apply the $500 Bonus Cash toward the purchase or lease of an eligible new vehicle. Or, you may elect to receive the $500 Bonus Cash from Ford Motor Company, in which case a check will be mailed directly from Ford Motor Company.

This offer is non-transferable. Once the certificate is generated, it cannot be transferred to another person. The name on the certificate must match the name on the vehicle sale.

Am I correct in assuming/reading between the lines that this cannot be used in combination with the first responder $500 rebate?

Or can it just not be used with "private incentives" such as a brochure coupon?

I saw a post from Franz that it could be used with a private cash offer. I will know soon and give an update. It may be a few days... My dealer printed out the compatibility list. the AQHA is compatable with the Private Ford cash Offer, Financing Offer and regular Ford Incentive. $3,500 total for me.

Can it be combined with the First Responder rebate tho? I already have the first responder code, so no need to join AQHA if I can't stack those 2. Still trying for the brochure private cash offer....

There are several other threads on here with the correct answer to your question.

My best guess is that military or first responder rebate can be combined with AQHA and with private offer cash..... and other existing national incentives.
Ford Customer Cash $1500 + Ford Credit Bonus $750 + Brochure Private Cash Offer $750 + AQHA $500 ............ + Military or First Responder $$$

What cannot be combined is military + first responder (I don't think)

You can also not combine private offers (third party from outside of Ford) like AQHA + organization X

I can confirm. I used my $500 AQHA rebate with a $750 Private cash offer, $750 financing offer and $1500 regular Ford incentive.

A great way to save $3,500.

Same exact scenario here. $1500 + $750+ $750 + $500 = $3500

With these incentive/offers and the dealer discount (invoice - $2000) my final price was about 15.2% below MSRP. Not complaining at all.

Being subject to a 10% sales tax, this is even more significant.

MSRP $56,000 * 10% = $5600 sales tax

Discount price $47488 * 10% = $4748.80 sales tax

Difference in sales tax: $5600 - $4748.80 = $851.20

I worked a $9000 trade into the deal for another $900 in sales tax savings.

Total Sales Tax Savings = $851.20 + $900 = $1751.20

To me this is why getting as many incentives/offers together as possible is so important, especially when you live in a higher sales tax area. The total price on the deal improves by huge amount:

Discounts/Rebates/Incentives = $56000 - $47488 = $8512
Sales Tax Savings = $1751
Total Cost Savings = $8512 + $1751 = $10263

That's right....... a total out the door savings of $10263 with an MSRP of $56000. This is why I love math!!

Great point on the tax savings, another bonus. I saved almost $350 in taxes from my actual deal price.

Here is how mine worked out...

Description Amount
MSRP $78,590.00
Dealer Discount ($5,271.00)
Base Price $73,319.00

Financing Incentive ($750.00)
Ford Incentive ($1,500.00)
Private Cash ($750.00)
AQHA ($500.00)
Saxton Rewards ($1,849.17)
Total After Discounts $67,969.83 ($8,771, Almost 15% off)

Tax $4,418.04 (6.5%)
Transit Tax $20.00
Document Fee $100.00
Service Contract $2,697.00 (100K, 120 mo, $2500 back if not used)
License Fees $199.75

Total Paid $75,404.62

If you saved $1751 tax on a savings of $8512 is over 20% off the top of my head. (I hate math) That's robbery!

I'm not sure how other States beside California do it, but out here in the land of Liberals we pay tax on the purchase price of the Vehicle before rebates, then apply the rebates.

For example the truck I'm buying is $76,865
Invoice price is $72,469
Rebates of $3000
I will pay tax on $72,469 roughly 7,246
$72,469 + $7,246 = 79,715
$79,715- $3000 in rebates = 76,715
