Where does this bolt go?

I recently purchased a 1983 ski boat with a Ford 302 engine. Cleaning it out the other day and found this on the floor under the engine. Not sure where it came from, but I assume it is from the engine. Does this part look familiar to anyone and can you suggest where on the engine it needs to be put back? Thanks in advance.

That is a brass pipe plug so it's not a factory engine part, more likely part of something marine orientated.

It is one of the exhaust manifold riser plugs.

Not surprising to see brass parts on a Marine engine. Looks like a 3/8NPT plug. I would check the oil gallery port above the fuel pump.

It also could be one of the engine blocks 2 drain plugs that someone along the way could have lost when they were getting the boat ready for winter.

I thought that too because it definitely looks just like the engine block water jacket drain plug to me.
