When doing the injectors on the passenger side should I replace the stand pipe and dummy plug? Before I tear into this thing I want to have everything I'll need.
It's not really an issue with that year. The one issue that does come up is with people that instead
of disconnecting the fitting. They unthread it from the oil rail and when putting it back in go ape
on the torque and crack the now getting hard to find connectors.

Bingo! What Sean said.☝️☝️ Never had the problem but I've seen ones that did. It's never pretty.
I bought an '03 with the previous owner showing me receipts for work he said he had done on it... Dummy Plugs was one of the items listed... I didn't know better. The receipts were all bogus.
I also bought a 03 6.0 recently but the truck has started to have rough starts (4 to 6 seconds of turn over before starting up). I can immediately shut off the truck and start it back up no problem. Figured the issue was somewhere in the hpos and thought a leaky stand pipe could be the culprit. Any thoughts or advice would be great, thanks for the help!

pressurize the HPO system. Take off both valve covers. You can here the leak. Minimal leaks are difficult to find. Let it pressurized and hear for the leak.
Pressurize the HPO system using the IPR port and adapter.
Valve Air regulator
I did this last night and heard hissing from both sides but no where specific. I checked my work and tried again hearing the hissing but unable to pinpoint it.
Then I got the idea to use an old standpipe, an air chuck, teflon tape and my long experience with cross threading because the threads do not match.
From there I was able to verify the problem is not from the oil lines forward. I suspect I'm looking at the discharge tube or the seals of the HPOP. I'll know for sure tonight.
