Super Cab Short box
1810 miles
They are ALL auto trans
4wd
3.73
stock tires
no cap
no accessories. switched to the short Tremor front valance and Tremor sized tires going on next week, will update
I drove it 1350 miles home. Immediately it was getting 15.5 cruising at 80 mph, dropped a little in Kansas at 85 mph. Getting 16.5 around home running 60-65 plus in town driving. Hand calculated three different tanks of gas, all came up 0.2-0.3 mpg over what the meter in the truck said. I voted 16 mpg

Saturday morning in cool windy weather went for about a 3 hour drive on surprisingly hilly backcountry 2 lane state highway blacktop. About 100 miles total. Very little flat cruising, almost always going up or down hill. Stayed on cruise control 60 - 65. Stop signs and little towns with speed limits now and then. Unloaded. ECO mode.
Averaged well above 16, likely 16.5 most of the time and peaked for a few glorious moments at 17.2.

There is a sweet spot on two lane state highways, coolish weather, long uninterrupted stretches going between 60 - 65. Above 16 MPG is pretty easy to attain and hold.
And the scenery is always much better, plus you might find an interesting barbeque place or biscuit shop.
I held 16.2 on a 170 mile back roads adventure. My distance traveled and distance to empty added up to a range of 510 miles on my 34 gallon tank. Not bad for a truck this size.

update 10K miles 16 MPG
2022 F250, 7.3L, Crewcab, standerd bed 4x4 trans 10 speed, 3:55 RR. 10,800 mi
Going from Santa Clarita CA, to Lake Havasue AZ.
me & the wife and suite cases, Santa Clarita to Barstow 1 stop for food and running 5 over the speed limit as allowed.
Barstow to Havasue running 80 most of the time when a priuses would get out of the way. I did fold the mirrors in from Barstow to the havasue turn off (I would like to thing it gave my a little nug in MPG).
Computer only calcs, 16+ MPG.
I am pretty happy with that, on trips when I had less than 5K on the truck I got only 14 I think. so it does seem t me that there might be some truth to the myth of a 7k break in period and picking up a couple of MPG's.
Made great time as well out there.

Mine gets the same MPG doing the same things at 65k miles as it did when it was new. I drove it 1350 miles home at mostly 85 mph followed by all of the mountains in Colorado to get to the west side. It managed around 15.5 that time and just the other day, I drove it to Denver and back, 610 miles, mostly 80+ same MPG. I still get around 16-17 during normal empty driving, always have. Towing has been very consistent as well. Of course, at no point did I "baby" this truck to get it broke in, ran it hard right off the lot, never slowed down.
