Problem with it is that it still uses the factory location. It doesn't matter what you put there, it's never going to work correctly.

Please explain..........I currently have a Fox brand (single) in the factory location and over 35k miles on it, works awesome compared to the stock damper.

It needs to be on the same plane as the drag link instead of creating a triangle. When you add a stiffer SS it creates an oscillation in the steering wheel as the suspension travels. I have been through this with an ATS. I ended up selling it and installing a dual PMF in the correct location and it is night and day better.

thats a replacement steering damper......the problem with steering dampers is that there are alot of linkages involved between the damper piston and the wheel hub...so it will never work as well as a dual steering stabilizer.

a dual steering stabilizer bolts one end of the shock to a bracket mounted on the last controm arm mounted to the hub...this bypasses a bunch of linkages and the associated slope in the rod end bearings of thos linkages.

So ……. the question is what is the Part # for the Bilstein that is being used in the PMF dual stabilizer kit.

If you have 5100's on the corners it would be nice to use the 5100's on the Kelderman (which is not offered from Kelderman). But with the part # you could order the Kelderman kit and order the 5100's elsewhere.

Anyway...….. have searched and read these threads for hours and have not seen a part # for Bilstein 5100 used in the PMF kit. Anyone??

What is the cost of having a dual PMF installed?

I've never heard this one before. I've seen many folks claim that they installed a Fox or King SS in the factory location and that it took care of the wobble issues.

I'd like to install a dual SS - can't decide between PMF or Kelderman

I just installed a Kelderman on my truck.
Reason I choose Kelderman over PMF is the way the shocks mount on the ends.

I like the Kelderman brackets also. What kind of stabilizer shocks did you use? Can you use Bilsteins on the Kelderman?

For anyone interested:

I called the PMF/Trever # above. I was told the Bilstein dual damper is 5100 794.

Doing a little searching on Bilstein.com I found a B8 5100 #33-170794
compressed = 14.72"
extended = 23.64"
makes the midpoint = 19.18"

Hope this helps someone.
